Description: A good book for adults, this book progresses very quickly and lacks some explanation. For example, the first lesson may be considered inappropriate by many teachers in that it introduces two octave slurs, as well as 6/8 time. The second lesson introduces trills, asks the student to “feel diaphragm” and calls the break “awkward.” The third lesson introduces the third octave, one and a- half octave scales in F Major and B-flat Major, gives no explanation of simple versus compound meter and has dotted rhythms in 9/8! I would perhaps retitle this book "Super Fast Track Flute!"
